The developer says they don't make Blade & Soul into a traditional fantasy martial art MMORPG so the cloth in the game is stylish eastern style. Since all clothes in the game don't have stats the developer can create one-piece dress for female characters while they don't have to design helmets and armors for arms/legs for every character, and this is why the team calls it "high-end" martial art MMO cloth.
Blade & Soul is for sure a game for adult players but the game's nearly NSFW characters still cause stir in Korea. The developer reassures that the characters are seductive but they won't go too far, besides, transparent and underwear clothing will not be directly used.
In the previous closed beta tests, nine out of ten npcs in the game are female, and the developer reveals that they've balanced the number of male and female characters in Blade & Soul for CBT3. At last, the developer says that closed beta 3 will start soon.
